Description
#100073 Plastic Meter Seals are used to wire seal taximeters by licensed technicians or official inspectors. The newer plastic headed wire seals replace the old lead wire seals which have been deemed bad for the environment. We no longer sell the lead seals. These new plastic seals have individual serial numbers which are reported to weights and measures or your regulator-inspector after installation. In most areas, you must be licensed in order to use these seals legally. Seals are furnished by the factory in various colors, which we cannot specify. (Our current stock is blue, but several other colors have been used in the past.)
