People have tried to glue them down, mount top signs on platforms stretched between roof-rack slides, stick them to windscreens with suction cups, Velcro, and we suppose many other ingenious schemes. For practical purposes, we offer two styles of mounts; Magnetic bases which contain fairly powerful magnets and generally do an adequate job of holding the sign fast to the roof… with exceptions! The more secure method is screwing or pop-riviting the sign to your roof surface. This essay will explore both methods.
