It is remotely controlled with a key-fob "clicker" which can control the marker light or the main sign separately, or light them together. The rechargeable built-in battery will easily last through a night-shift, but a charger is included to plug in while you take a lunch break! You can also order a cigarette-lighter cable to recharge it from the car, or a solar trickle charger for daytime recharge.
