#750008 Spirit Of 72.50 (Marked Down From 76)   Years ago I had the good fortune to become the "Eye-In-The-Sky" for a little radio station in Buffalo New York. When weather was bad - snow, rain, bitter cold - we'd fly a Bell Helicopter. When weather was good, a small Tri-Pacer Airplane was just the ticket, and a whale of a lot less expensive per hour. One very surprising fact came to life whenever we needed it: You can hover a plane under the right conditions! There seemed to be a continuous 45-mile-per-hour wind blowin' in off Lake Erie. When there was some incident we wanted to observe, we'd point the little plane with high-lift wing-tips right toward the lake. Then you set the speed at 45 MPH and the plane hovered! This little model probably isn't close to accurate, but I don't recall any awards for perfect scale models!! Such is life!!  8"x8"x6"
